UCSC 2011 Graduate Student Survey Has Begun

Share

Dear Graduate Students,

You are invited to provide comprehensive feedback about your graduate school experience by taking the UCSC Graduate Student Survey. The 2011 survey, which has begun last week, includes questions about your faculty and primary advisor, curriculum and resources, research and TA training, financial support, student services, and child care. The results will be used for formal and informal program/departmental reviews. Your responses to this survey are completely confidential. The survey results will be reported only as aggregate data.

How to Participate

You can log in at http://gradsurvey.ucsc.edu/ or check your email for an official invitation from Tyrus Miller, Dean of Graduate Studies. The email was sent to you last Wednesday, May 4 with your link to the survey.

Great Prizes!

The survey will take about 20 minutes to complete and you will be eligible to win great prizes, including a chance to win one of three iPads! As soon as you complete the survey, your name will also be entered in daily and weekly random drawings for $50 gift cards to the Bay Tree Bookstore. Please see your survey invitation for details.

This year’s survey is a part of the UCSC Diversity and Community Building Study that will include all students, faculty, and staff. The success of the Graduate Student Survey contributes to the campus-wide efforts to evaluate and improve the university climate for diversity and inclusion.

Please take the survey as soon as you can! We really appreciate your participation.

Sincerely,

The Institute for Humanities Research
