About the Cluster

The Community/Technology Research Cluster investigates the discussions of the notion of ‘community’ precipitated by the publication of Jean-Luc Nancy’s The Inoperative Community, and the turn given to this discussion by the re-examination of the notion of technology, particularly in the works of Bernard Stiegler and Gilbert Simondon. The Cluster conducts an online discussion among its members and stages periodic events with invited guests.
